Аннотация:
В статье рассматривается динамика развития экономических отношений между Бенином и Нигерией. Проведен анализ экономических отношений, которые строились между народами этих стран ещё до колониального периода. Членство в организациях региональной интеграции также влияет на экономическую политику стран, что находит отражение в двусторонних экономических отношениях. На основе статистических данных, автором сделаны выводы о влиянии протекционизма Нигерии на неформальную торговлю между странами. Автором выявлена тенденция развития экономических отношений между странами с учетом последних реформ в Бенине и решений правительств двух стран. В конце статьи, автором были предложены стратегии для построения взаимовыгодных экономических отношений между Бенином и Нигерией.

Abstract: The article examines the dynamics of the development of economic relations between Benin and Nigeria. An analysis of the economic relations that were built between the peoples of these countries even before the colonial period is carried out. Membership in regional integration organizations also affects the economic policies of countries, which is reflected in bilateral economic relations. Based on statistical data, the author draws conclusions about the impact of Nigeria's protectionism on informal trade between countries. The trend in the development of economic relations between the countries, taking into account the recent reforms in Benin and the decisions of the governments of the two countries was revealed. At the end of the article, the author proposed strategies for building mutually beneficial economic relations between Benin and Nigeria.

At the end of the article, the author proposed strategies for building Benin and Nigeria mutually beneficial economic relations.
