Abstract:
The monograph is devoted to topical issues of assessing the economic potential of the insurance market and developing measures to reduce the unrealized economic potential of the market. The introduction of modern digital technologies increases the availability of insurance services, reduces the costs of insurers, and expands the product range of insurance products. Meanwhile, the digitalization of the insurance market generates new risks associated with a low level of financial and digital literacy of consumers of insurance services.

The methodological tools for assessing the economic potential of the market are proposed. The monograph analyzes the factors that have the greatest impact on the economic potential of the insurance market. The algorithm of integral assessment of the economic potential of the insurance market is presented.
Proposals are formulated to reduce the level of unrealized economic potential of the domestic insurance market based on an assessment of the economic potential of the regional insurance market.
The monograph is intended for specialists working in insurance companies engaged in planning the processes of territorial expansion of insurance companies, teachers, students, undergraduates of higher educational institutions studying the issues of regional development of the insurance market.
