Abstract:
The book describes the selection of promising sources of phytonutrients for diet therapy of type 2 diabetes. This book presents the results of our analysis of the data conducted by scientific publications and our own experimental studies on the rationale use of domestic food and medicinal plants as sources of biologically active substances of specialized food antidiabetic action. This monograph is intended for a wide range of readers, primarily researchers and experts working in various fields of Food technology, Food chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutritional science, Dietetics, Physiology, and graduate students, masters and students of relevant specialties.
