Abstract:
The monograph is on the study of the phenomenon, that is new for Russian science, the Chinese sociocultural space in the local form of the cross-border area. Based on the synthetic methodology, including socio-cultural, axiological, tool, framework, cluster and discursive approaches, it explores the nature of Chinese border area. The authors systematized the cultural and value concepts and strategies, that constitute the cultural and ideological basis for the development of modern China. The basic elements of Chinese cross-border sociocultural space were defined: regional cultural and value strategies, cultural and historical heritage resources of ethnic groups, living in the cross-border area, intercultural practices.
The monograph discusses the scope and forms of Russia and China cooperation, specific sociocultural practices, that are most actively developing in terms of transnational intercultural cooperation in the Chinese borderland.
