Abstract:
The manual covers theoretical approaches and practical recommendations included in the concept of “digital literacy”. The current interest in understanding the essential characteristics of digital literacy is evident in numerous publications published over the past two decades.
The approval of the National Program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation” initiated a wide coverage of various aspects of the information environment in the scientific literature. The digital competence of professionals involved in the digital economy, defined by a set of knowledge and skills that are necessary for the safe and effective use of digital technologies and information space resources is coming to the fore.
The authors identify four basic blocks in the consideration of digital literacy: information and communication technologies; digital representation of information; communication tools in the digital economy; information security risk management.
“Digital literacy” is a manual for students, teachers, and for all who are interested in modern information technology. In an accessible form, the book outlines the basic tenets of computer science. Practical tasks, as well as questions for repetition at the end of each chapter will help the reader to learn properly the proposed material.
