Abstract:
The task of improving the quality of public services on the field of employment requires increasing the competence of the Employment Services employees. One of the measures for the implementation of professional standards is the certification of employees. Questions of assessing the effectiveness of personnel certification of the Government Employment Services in the conditions of the professional standards implementation are considered in the article. The results of a survey of employees in one of the territorial divisions of the Employment Services of the Irkutsk region are presented in the study. The respondents were employees who passed the certification procedure, as well as experts who participated in the work of the certification committee. The authors studied the opinions expressed by respondents during the survey. The authors of the article analyzed the main problems that affect the effectiveness of the personnel certification system, and offered recommendations on improving the certification procedure for specialists of the public employment service. Based on the results of the study, the authors concluded that it was necessary to conduct final activities to provide feedback to employees.
