Abstract:
The term reengineering usually refers to a set of techniques and methods that a company uses to design a business in accordance with its goals (the most important of them is usually to improve the financial condition). In order to meet the needs of consumers and not give in to competitors, the company in modern conditions must constantly change. The concept of business process reengineering, adopted by almost all major companies in industrialized countries, is now beginning to have a positive impact on the development of medium and small businesses. At the same time, production indicators are improved by modeling, analyzing and redesigning existing, unreasonably complex and spontaneously formed business processes that do not meet modern requirements in the conditions of fierce competition in international markets for products and services. The article deals with the issues of formalization of the first stage of reengineering, at which the selection and evaluation of business processes subject to redesign takes place. A method for selecting business processes based on a collective examination of critical success factors is proposed. The choice is based on the analysis of the maximum integrated assessment of the business process, taking into account the measure that characterizes the variability of expert opinions.
