Actual problems of personnel management in retailing

Abstract:
Currently, there is a big problem in the Russian Federation related to attracting and retaining labour resources in retail organizations. In this regard, the article highlighted a number of aspects in the personnel management system of trade organizations, the solution of which gives a real opportunity to balance the labour market in retail trade. The main ones are as follows: recruitment, use of the outsourcing system, staff retention, reduction of staff turnover and motivation of labour activity. Special attention is paid to the new approaches to assessing labour productivity, which make it possible to really assess the need of companies for basic personnel. Instead of the traditional parameter such as turnover per employee for a fixed period of time, it is proposed to use indicators such as the number of checks, the number of scans correlated with the man-hours worked.
