Abstract:
The authors analyze the possibilities of a comprehensive assessment and analysis of the labour potential of machine-building enterprises in order to determine the need for its development in the context of large-scale innovative renewal of the material and technical base of production. The quantitative and qualitative composition of the company's personnel allows us to solve the most complex tasks of managing production processes and the enterprise as a whole. The development of the company's potential is considered an important direction of the company's strategic development.
The analysis of the most important indicators that determine the development of labour resources of machine-building enterprises which have a significant number of specialists of various specialties and skill levels have been conducted. A methodological approach to a comprehensive assessment of the development of the labour potential of the studied enterprises on the basis of quantitative indicators is proposed.
The analysis showed that the proposed system of indicators largely reflects the most important aspects of the development of the enterprise's workforce. The used method of expert assessment of the labour potential of enterprises allows us to quantify the level of its development in the dynamics and identify bottlenecks for its qualitative improvement.
The theoretical significance of the study consists in a comprehensive approach to assessing the labour potential of an enterprise by accepted categories, the ability to quantify the dynamics of its development and compare enterprises of the same industry with each other. The practical significance is determined by the simplicity of obtaining research results and objectivity of conclusions.
