Abstract:
The article substantiates the necessity of integration of national transport systems in the Eurasian Economic Union. An institutional and economic mechanism for the formation of transport space in the Eurasian region is proposed. The parts of the proposed mechanism are as follows: institutional elements (system of inter-state bodies and their competencies), legislative (legal base), economic and financial policies and procedures of training and decision-making, control of their fulfillment in interdependence and interconnectedness. It is noted that the creation of the mechanism will allow to obtain a number of socio-economic effects that will be associated with increasing the effectiveness of integration processes in transport, harmonization of regulation and removal of barriers for transport service providers. All potential effects in the article are analyzed from the position of direct and indirect effects, as well as from the quantitative and qualitative side.
