Abstract:
In the context of the development of the digital economy, the issues of raising the retirement age are relevant. The article shows the opinions of various experts, identifies the main causes and factors affecting the increase in the retirement age. The article also describes the workloads and calculated by the authors prognostic indicators of workload for the period from 2020 to 2050. Low, medium and high pension ages by gender in different countries are also presented. Despite the fact that the authors and scientists pay much attention to the issue of raising the retirement age, various programs are proposed. It is advisable not only to develop a set of measures aimed at improving skills, retraining of people of retirement and pre-retirement age, which is especially important in the conditions of digitalization (elimination of professions), but also it is necessary to provide tax incentives for enterprises employing socially vulnerable groups of the population, to improve the quality of life of the population, etc.
