Abstract:
The article presents the process of development of heavy traffic technology in railway transport, the features of the independent traction business resource of the locomotive complex in heavy traffic. The article also presents an innovative concept of "Scale effect of traction business resource", the essence of which is to obtain local effects due to the more complete use of traction rolling stock and methodological approaches to the definition of this effect.
