Abstract:
Bougainville's regional conflict is one of the most prominent in the South Pacific region, as well as one of the least highlighted in international sources, in view of the special geostrategic, economic and political interests of the key players in the "Great game in the Asia-Pacific region", which aims to intensify the struggle for resources, scientific and technical tests at a remote "polygon", the shadow import of resources of the developing state, organized by TNCs and a concert of developed countries. The main scenarios of events after the referendum 2019 for the island and Papua New Guinea, not ready to lose its richest province, are reflected.
