Abstract:
Purpose: This work is devoted to the issues of optimization of management transactions in the functioning of the digital economy using smart contracts based on blockchain technology. Materials and methods: Used methods of analysis and synthesis in the processing of research of domestic and foreign scientists and experts. Results: Smart contract is automated standalone programs that are in the blockchain (built according to certain rules is a continuous sequential chain of blocks that contain data) and encapsulate the business logic and code to perform the required functions under certain conditions. Such contracts provide flexibility, programmability, and control over the actions that blockchain users must perform to meet their specific business requirements. Conclusions: In other words, it is possible to establish a digital, binding agreement between two objects with the help of blockchain. Thanks to the contracts, they do not require trust, as in the unsubstantiated agreement. The agreement is public and completely transparent, so both parties know what they are agreeing to.
