Abstract:
Purpose: analyzing the political trust of the author, it proceeds from the fact that today this issue is one of the key issues in the modern development of the political system and at the stage of the near future. Therefore, it seems appropriate to consider it in the socio-economic dimension, as the key to development prospects. Results: considering political trust in Russia, a conclusion is made about its absolute personification, when the subjective assessment of his personal qualities, which today is in the masculine-protector dimension, and not in the professional, serves as the basis for trust in one or another policy. In turn, in the US, individuals mostly claim a comprehensive assessment of the political course, formed by the media, where individual assessments of a particular politician are in the background. Conclusions: this leads to the central problem of modern political trust - the erosion of truth, which significantly complicates political self-determination and the socio-economic self-development of citizens.
Keywords: politics, trust, political trust, paradigms, archetypes, presidential power, globalization
