Abstract:
Purpose: at present, interest in the long waves of economic, social and political dynamics of N.D. Kondratiev is growing. Kondratyev’s and other cycles of financial and economic direction, as the world community entered the era of relatively unstable development. Discussions about Kondratyev’s cycles (long waves of economic, social and political dynamics) have been going on for almost a century, since the outstanding Russian scientist N.D. Kondratiev. Kondratiev in the 1920s. published his work on large cycles of world conjuncture. The very duration of incessant and sometimes very hot battles, devoted to issues of long waves and cycles, confirms the existence of this phenomenon and the complexity of its nature. Explore the historical preconditions for the description of N.D. Kondratiev of large cycles of economic conjuncture. To substantiate the consistency of the Schumpeter–Kondratiev theory in the current economic situation. Materials and methods: the author used a set of methodological tools, including analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction, official sources, literature review, system approach, comparative analysis, historical, sociological, statistical research methods. Results: in this paper, a study of the history of the description of N.D. Kondratiev of large cycles of economic conjuncture and the development of the innovation-cyclical theory of economic development of Shumpeter–Kondratiev. It is also concluded that the Schumpeter–Kondratiev theory has passed the test of time and proved its worth. Conclusions: work of N.D. Kondratieva, dedicated to the long waves of economic, social and political dynamics, is not a continuation of the industrial paradigm of social science, but an innovative and strategic approach to cognition of the development of society, a platform for the postindustrial paradigm of the developing world of the XX–XXI century.

Keywords: innovation-cyclical theory of economic development of Shumpeter-Kondratiev, large cycles of the world conjuncture
