Abstract:
The dairy sector as an integral part of the dairy industry plays an important role in the economy of our country and its subjects. The article deals with the dairy industry in the region on the example of the Bryansk region. The authors analyzed the main indicators: consumption of different types of milk and dairy products per capita, production and output of milk, whole milk products, drinking milk, cheese, butter. The set of necessary conditions and resources for the development and increase in the production of dairy products is determined, as well as the prospects of demand for dairy products in the Bryansk region are identified. The activities aimed at the development of the dairy industry, which will reduce the dependence of the industry on the raw material base, are discussed.
