Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of migration processes taking place in Siberia. Flows of inter- and intracountry migration are analyzed. As one of the most important reasons for the decision to move and choose the new place of residence the author considers the state of the social sphere as a set of factors of life support and reproduction of the population. The structure of nutrition, improvement of housing, the possibility of obtaining medical and educational services are considered as indicators that characterize the quality of life and social security. In all these parameters, the people of Siberia are in a better position than migrants from neighboring countries, but at the worst compared to European Russia. The assumption is made that when deciding on the change of place of residence, the actual living conditions of the household and its members – first of all, not enough satisfied people - are of crucial importance. At the same time, "differences for the better" become more important when choosing the direction of migration.

  • - Миграционные процессы на территории Сибири, а именно перемещение населения с севера на юг и с запада на восток внутри России, с одной стороны, и приток приезжающих из стран ближнего зарубежья с другой, могут быть объяснены разницей в условиях жизни.
  • - Среди факторов, характеризующих качество жизни, выделены структура питания, благоустройство жилья, возможность получения медицинских и образовательных услуг.
  • - При сравнении показателей по указанным блокам данных заметно, что регионы Сибири находятся в лучшем положении, чем страны ближнего зарубежья, но в худшем, чем европейская часть России.
  • - Можно предполагать, что при принятии решения о перемещении определяющее значение имеет несоответствие уровня развития социальной сферы запросам населения; тогда как при выборе направления миграции более значимыми становятся «отличия к лучшему» территории-реципиента от территории-донора.
