Abstract:
The article presents quantitative and qualitative description of many scientific works on the issues of migration. We analyze scientific articles published in Russian demographic periodicals, which are devoted to various aspects of the migration, and review the main problems of the migration movement, considered in doctoral research of recent years. We show the dynamics of the number of scientific publications on migration, from the mid-1990s to the present. The overwhelming share of publications on migration is made up of economic research; the second place belongs to sociological research, the third one to legal research.
