Abstract:
The article includes the assessment of the impact of subjective and objective factors on pricing in the production of the main categories of food consumed by the population in various regions of the Russian Federation using measurement of latent indicators. We assess the adequacy of the measurement of latent indicators on the basis of the data obtained by using dialog system of latent variables measuring RUMM (Rasch Unidimensional Measurement Models). We’ve calculated the least and the most adequate latent indicators which characterize the degree of impact of relevant pricing factors in the production of various products at the regional level in Russia. That will allow potential entrepreneurs when choosing a sphere and place of business to be focused on the most profitable niche. It will also allow the entrepreneurs to take into account the directions of further development of small and medium-sized business.
