Abstract:
The article is devoted to creation and application technologies of mathematical model of intellectual capital of the organization. The goal of the study is a substantiation of the possibility of applying the theory of Markov chains to creation of stochastic model of intellectual capital value of the company on the basis of investments in intangible assets of the organization.
We consider the initial model hypothesis as investments in intangible assets of an organization that are a factor in the transformation of intellectual capital into a company value. On the basis of the proposed hypothesis, we estimate a value of intangible assets of the organization under investigation. Within the framework of stochastic model, we create Markov chains, the states of which are elements of the intellectual capital of the organization. We form the matrix of transition probabilities and realize the modeling of limiting probabilities of system’s states.
As a result of the study we determined that using Markov chains it is possible to carry out the structural analysis and modeling of the organization's intellectual capital as a system. We also identified necessary conditions and boundaries of the application area of the mathematical model.
The mathematical method of modeling the company's intellectual capital proposed in the article allows determining the contribution of each of the structural components to the formation of the organization's intellectual capital value. Thus it becomes possible to establish a current balance between all its elements, which contributes to a comprehensive study of the company's intellectual assets.
