Abstract:
The development of high technologies and new trends in management theory allows organizations to reach new heights of efficiency and success using unprecedented means. At the same time these factors make companies seek for new opportunities for survival on the market and face new challenges. Organizations, during their changes, gain features of virtuality, distribution and decentralization. Communication and knowledge management will play a key role for these new modern types of organizations (virtual, learning, knowledge-based). That’s why it is important to understand how these organizations build their internal systems, what practices and tools they use to raise employees awareness of what is going on in the company, and how to manage knowledge and organization as a whole.
