Abstract:
The article examines the key areas of investment policy reform both within Uzbekistan and in relation to the outside world. The impact of digitalization on the economy and investment processes at the macro, meso and micro levels is briefly considered. Using Uzbekistan as an example, the article examines specific problems and progress in the formation of the digital economy and the resulting changes in investment processes. Taking into account the complex nature of the impact of digitalization on socio-economic processes in the country, it is pointed out that there is a need for a comprehensive policy transformation, paying attention both to the regulation of the cross-border nature of digital services and digital business, intellectual property protection and digital security, and to the creation of conditions for the orderly introduction of digitalization in traditional industries.
