Abstract:
The main problem of modern trends in urban development is the acute shortage of free space for sufficient transportation according to traditional approaches. The authors of the article propose a new approach to the optimization of the system of transport services and transport infrastructure, based on the principles of differentiation of traffic flows and separation of their management. The article will be of interest to specialists in the field of architecture of transport systems, transport engineering, urban planning, as well as researchers dealing with problems of regional development and sustainable urban development. The results and conclusions presented in the article can be used to develop strategies and programs for the development of cities and agglomerations in conditions of limited urban space.
