Abstract:
The article presents an up-to-date analysis of the current exports and imports situation, as well as key transformations taking place in the domestic Russian market, which is being transformed under the influence of sanctions imposed on imports. The most vulnerable areas of import restrictions on individual production sectors of the economy have been identified. The article assesses the consequences of the implementation of state support programs for the national economy in the context of import restrictions, as well as ways to adapt it to sanctions.
The article analyzes the structural changes and reorientation of foreign trade flows in connection with the closure and import restrictions, the withdrawal of some Western companies from the Russian market, and the intensification of political confrontation between the countries and the emergence of new trading partners, procurement markets, and domestic import substitution.
Analytical conclusions on current situation in the national economy production sector under import restrictions are given.
