Abstract:
The paper is dedicated to the study of the processes of formation of a limited open economy of a sovereign type in Russia. In this regard, the main features of the economy of the late USSR, which is characterized as relatively closed, are first analyzed. Then the set of objective and subjective prerequisites for its transformation into an open economy of the post-Soviet type is considered. After describing the essential features and indicators of the latter, a comprehensive description of destructive processes is given, such as sanctions wars, the withdrawal of the largest companies from the Russian market, the freezing of assets, which leads to the actual dismantling of the post-Soviet economic model. At the same time, the author reveals the basic principles and mechanisms of the formation of a new – sovereign – model, which he interprets as a limited open economy. Within the framework of this work, the author's methodology of comparative analysis of the studied three models in terms of the specifics of their integration into the world economy is implemented.
