Prospects for the integration of the Greater Eurasian Partnership into the global economy and related challenges

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the prospects for the integration of the Greater Eurasian Partnership into the global economy and related challenges. The main arguments in favor of the successful integration of the Greater Eurasian Partnership are the formation of a holistic trade and economic mega-education with well-established chains of production, logistics and financial flows, the convergence of the existing innovation infrastructure of the EAEU and intellectual capital with the financial capabilities of Chinese funds and corporations and the accumulated database of patents and experience in commercialization of new technologies. This will not only deepen cooperation between the countries, but also increase mutual investment cooperation. The authors identified the main threats to the integration of the Greater Eurasian Partnership into the world economy in conditions of global uncertainty. They are as follows: internal contradictions associated with a significant gap in the economic development of countries (especially compared to China); resistance of the centers of power represented by the United States and the EU, which with the help of soft power tools will try to hinder the integration processes; aggravation of the problem of countering and protecting the GEP from the intensification of cyber aggression on critical and financial infrastructure in order to disrupt the stability of functioning and incite internal conflicts; increasing risks of blurring the borders of the state sovereignty of the member states, especially in the context of the desire to introduce a single settlement currency and the creation of single markets.
