Abstract:
The work emphasizes that competent public administration in solving the problem of environmental pollution is an important aspect of the implementation of sustainable development policies. The subject of the study is the selection of factors that influence environmental degradation and, above all, atmospheric air pollution. The object of the study is the organizational aspects of the implementation of the state policy of the national economy, considered in the context of the fact that balanced sustainable development is the fundamental goal of macroeconomic policy of the state. The methodological basis of the study was general scientific methods and techniques. The empirical base of the study was statistics from the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Roshydromet). Solving the problem of environmental pollution is an important aspect of the implementation of macroeconomic policies that contribute to the balanced development of the country in the framework of achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
