Abstract:
Sustainable development of the metropolis transport system is an urgent task of the modern world. High population density and a significant number of industrial and service enterprises require not only the mobility of citizens and economic activity of enterprises, but also the creation of comfortable living conditions with the preservation of ecology and natural parks in the urban landscape. Interventions to develop mobility in a big city requires constant measurement of results of implemented changes and their perception by citizens. The paper discusses the main principles and approaches to the formation of a monitoring system for the passenger transport system, presents the results of testing the methodology and offers a conceptual model of the database, which should be the basis of an information system for supporting management decisions.
