Abstract:
The article considers the key factors in the process of innovative development and digital transformation of the economy, which in one way or another affect the formation of professions and require appropriate changes in the education system. The world is changing very quickly, so the education system must be flexible, able to meet the challenges of the modern economy and train specialists with new competencies that are in demand by employers and/or necessary for creating and running entrepreneurial business. The paper identifies factors influencing the education system and formulates the components that make up the system of "education of the future" to respond to the challenges of innovative development and digital transformation of business and society. Emerging trends and risks in the modern education system and key competencies that modern specialist must acquire are identified.
