Abstract:
Purpose: analyze the possibility of forming competitive interregional clusters as a promising direction of regional socio-economic policy. Materials and methods: the methodological basis of this article is the study of conditions conducive to the formation of competitive inter-regional clusters as a promising direction of regional socioeconomic policy. Results: the article reveals that the main reasons for the creation of a cluster are the growth of global competition, regional or industry demand, intra-industry competition, the formation of companies enshrined as a result of their activities, etc. Therefore, sustainable development of the regions and the entire agricultural sector at the current stage is necessary approach. Conclusions: clusters promote synergies and complementarities across industries by spreading technology, skills, information, and marketing, thereby speeding up the introduction and development of innovations. Thus, the development of clusters can be considered as one of the most important sources of long-term economic growth in the region and in the country as a whole, since the integration of enterprises contributes to the efficiency of the industry.
It has been substantiated that within the cluster an effective integration structure can be formed, including effective agricultural and processing enterprises, educational institutions, scientific organizations and other enterprises necessary for the efficient operation of the industry. And it is not necessary that these enterprises be located on the territory of one region, the development of an interregional cluster leads to an increase in the efficiency of the united structure and has a positive effect on the socio-economic development of the territories [2, p. 172]. Application: the findings and research results can be used in the development of measures to improve the efficiency of investment support for the implementation of government programs.
