Abstract:
Purpose: statement of the problem: in this article an attempt is made to investigate the issues of ensuring the economic security of food security for state needs. The world agro-industrial sector is a special sphere of production, whose activity is oriented to meeting the most important physiological needs of man. Therefore, issues related to ensuring economic security are of paramount importance for the formation of the economic basis for the functioning of the Russian state and the preservation and enhancement of the health of the world’s population. Materials and methods: in the article, in the methodological aspect, modern theories of market economy, development and regulation were used; methods of structural and functional analysis and systems approach, groupings, graphical and tabular methods, a system of economic laws and scientific assumptions. Results: within the framework of the study it is justified that the development of the Russian Federation as a powerful modern state objectively implies the creation of a stable economic base for the implementation of ongoing reforms. In this regard, it is necessary to pay the closest attention to the problem of the economic basis for the functioning of the Russian state, including the provision of food for state needs. Conclusions: the materials outlined in this article show a special role in ensuring the economic security of food security for state needs. At the present time, the Russian economy is going through another stage of the financial crisis, so the questions about the problems of the country’s economic security are more important than ever. Economic security is one of the most important characteristics of an economic system. The category of economic security in our country was introduced into official circulation in the early 1990s. One of the first steps in the normative consolidation of the need to ensure economic security was the approval by the President of the Russian Federation of March 1992 of the Law of the Russian Federation «On Security», in which, unlike previously adopted normative acts, there were recognized objective threats to the vital interests of the main security objects, were attributed to the individual, society and the state.
