Abstract:
Purpose: the quality of services provided by medical and preventive institutions (medical organizations) to the population is one of the most important evaluation and analytical categories. Healthcare is a significant social sphere, whose tasks are to ensure and maintain the health of the population; therefore, the issues of ensuring public health, changing the quality characteristics of the health of citizens of different countries is very relevant. The purpose of the article is to substantiate methods for improving the activities of medical institutions and improving the quality of their services Materials and methods: within the framework of this article, methods of content analysis, comparative analysis, economic-statistical and economic-mathematical analysis were used. Results: the article substantiates the methods of improving the activities of medical institutions and improving the quality of health services, identified problems of client orientation and the cost of services in medical institutions. The health care sphere is analyzed in the context of quality management, which formulates the basic principles, rules and requirements that are imposed on the health care sector. Conclusions: it is substantiated that the relationship between the quality of health of labor resources (labor potential) and the growth of the national economy, the ability of this economy to develop intensively with a high level of science intensity and science output are inextricably linked. This article raises the health problems in the philosophical, ethical, organizational, methodological and methodical aspects.
