Abstract:
Purpose: the rapidity of innovation changes in a new way raises questions of market equilibrium, more often deviating from its achieved static optimum, which, in particular, revives interest in the socio-economic aspects of globalization in the modern world. In view of this, in this paper the aim of the study is to define the very concept of globalization and its origin. In a historical perspective, consider the classical concepts of globalization and localization, as well as modern research on this topic and reveal the essence of globalization and substantiate the factors that influence this process. Materials and methods: in carrying out this study, the main sources of input data were the materials of the classics of economic theory. The basis of methodological developments is based on comparative methods of analysis, abstract-logical, system analysis, monographic, etc. Results: in this article, features of the global globalization processes from the position of Russian and foreign authors are considered. The characteristic of the process of globalization as an economic phenomenon is given. Conclusions: having studied the classical concepts of globalization and localization, as well as modern research on this topic, we came to the conclusion that globalization represents the interconnection and interdependence of the processes of globalization and localization in the modern world, the globalization of the local and the localization of the global.
