Abstract:
Purpose: the issue of increasing the effectiveness of human potential management and raising its quality in the activities of enterprises is acute and requires an immediate solution to ensure the security of the country. The aim of the work is to consider the role of the human factor in achieving competitiveness and efficiency of enterprises and organizations. Materials and methods: in the article, in the methodological aspect, modern theories of market economy, development and regulation were used; methods of structural and functional analysis and systems approach, groupings, graphical and tabular methods, a system of economic laws and scientific assumptions. Results: in the course of the research it was revealed that the concept of «labor potential» is peculiar to an individual as well as to the collective, the society and the organization as a whole at different levels of interaction between economic entities. It is substantiated that the account of stochasticity in the theory and practice of management allows more meaningful use of the approaches of situational decision-making, feedback and operational control. Conclusions: the educational level of the labor resources of the enterprise is the main factor of their development and has a direct impact on the process of forming the labor potential, because it constitutes a necessary condition for the professional or official growth of the employee. Thus, a sharp increase in the importance of the human factor in enterprises has put personnel management at the forefront of management.
