Abstract:
Purpose: of the article is to consider the economic and legal aspects of venture investment in scientific, technical and organizational renewal of economic systems. Materials and methods: the research uses methods of qualitative analysis of profile regulatory legal documents and statistical data; factor, situational and comparative approaches to empirical material on the topic, as well as the possibility of expert assessment of emerging economic trends. results: in the article the concept of venture investment was considered, the characteristic of legal regulation of venture investment was given. The analysis of the state of venture business in Russia is carried out, the statistics of the main investment sectors are given. Also, problems of development and effective functioning were considered and described, and measures for their elimination were suggested. Prospects of venture business in Russia were outlined. conclusions: the market of venture investments in Russia requires new steps that will enable it to step up in the conditions of modernization and renewal of the domestic economy, where the principle, such as innovation, is put in the forefront. The main reason that impedes the development of venture capital investment in Russia is the lack of appropriate economic and legal tools for the development of venture investment activities that would create favorable conditions for the operation of venture capital in the innovation sphere. To change the situation in the sphere of venture financing of innovative developments, it is necessary to implement a number of measures at the state level. First of all, efforts should be directed to more effective use of available mechanisms of direct and indirect state support of venture business.
