Abstract:
An important component of the development of the country's economy is innovation, the level of development of which creates the basis for sustainable economic growth, contributes to the implementation of strategic objectives of the territory. This article provides an overview of foreign experience of cluster policy at the state level in different countries. Analyzed the model of government innovation clusters with the aim of developing the economy of the regions. The experience of such countries as the USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, France, great Britain, Italy, Finland, Japan was analyzed. In the context of each country there is a brief content of the cluster approach, the main tools, organizations that implement the functions, the main advantages and disadvantages. The study of the experience of foreign countries, the use of its positive aspects, the study of negative experience will allow to conduct an effective economic policy in the country.
