Abstract:
The topic of the article is relevant due to the fact that Russian construction industry is not a high-tech or innovatively active industry, that’s why the reserves of the economic growth of the industry are related to the implementation and development of innovative technologies. This fact has been objectively and repeatedly proven by the development of the construction sectors of the countries of the European Union (proven by data of statistical analysis of economic indicators and indicators of innovation activity of economic entities in the construction industry of Germany, France and the Netherlands). At the same time it is important to understand that the introduction of innovative technologies is always a high risk that can effect systemically and synergistically through cumulation of the risks of implementation of construction projects. Therefore, within the framework of this article, we consider the main approaches to strategic management of innovative development of entrepreneurial and business structures of the construction industry; we also study the issues of risk management of innovative technology implementation in the construction industry. The author suggests practical solutions for monitoring and managing the risks of introducing innovative technologies in the framework of construction projects; the author also describers applications aimed at minimizing (or addressing) the associated project and innovation risks. The results of study can be used to develop innovative development strategies for business and business entities operating in the construction industry.
