Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of issues related to the increase of public-private partnership efficiency in humanitarian operations. We consider regulatory and legal framework governing the participation of business in the provision of humanitarian assistance. We assess it in financial terms. We mark motivational components that determine the interest of private sector in the participation in this type of assistance. We study Russian practice and analyze the work of international business in the marked direction. We revealed the mechanisms determining the effectiveness. In addition, the article examines the main obstacles to private sector participation in the provision of humanitarian assistance. We propose recommendations to address them.
