Abstract:
The article deals with the problem of food security in Russia and the modern role of customs authorities in its provision. The state of food security of the Russian Federation in the period 2012-2016 was analyzed. The ratio of such categories as embargoes, sanctions, imports is indicated, the impact on the food security of transnational corporations is revealed. The characteristic of influence of activity of customs authorities on reduction of threats in the field of food security is given.
