Abstract:
The article is devoted to the issues of the labor market of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic. We paid special attention to the gender division in the labor market. The main content of the study lies in the data analysis of employment and unemployment of the economically active population of Sakha and in identifying the imbalance within the Sakha labor market. We also calculated the percentage of the increase and decrease in employment and unemployment by gender.

We analyzed the economically active population. Taking into account the situation on the labor market we suggest the causes of gender division in the labor market. The data can be used for further research on employment and unemployment of the economically active population of Sakha, and during the analysis of the gender division within the Sakha labor market.
