Abstract:
The monograph proposes a concept of management culture in the system of internal affairs bodies, extends the conceptual framework of management sociology through interpretation of the notion “management culture in the system of internal affairs bodies”. Based on the conceptual-theoretical model of management culture research in the process of empirical interpretation of the main research definitions the author has obtained the measurement indices of the studied phenomenon. A method for the empirical study of management culture has been developed, and the results of its approbation are presented in this article. The author has calculated an aggregate (index) of management culture, pointed out and characterized management culture functions and development factors. Special attention is paid to generation-based conditioning of management culture. The author has also described the state of management culture in the system of internal affairs bodies and proposed certain ways to improve it.
