Abstract:
The article analyzes the options for activation of mutual trade and economic relations and investments between Russia and African countries.

Keywords: decline in GDP growth in African countries, falling commodity prices, need to diversify economies and attract investment in Africa, mutual interests of Russia and Africa under modern conditions, main strategic areas for cooperation, BRICS Development Bank, long-term strategic projects
