Abstract:
There are a lot of scientific periodicals on various directions of the housing sector development which have already become classics. At the same time, the need for developing an optimal structure of housing construction and housing stock dictates the importance of a detailed review of the best international practices. One of the means of accumulation of knowledge about housing studies is scientific journals. Scientometric indexes of journals and separate publications were analyzed using the empirical and bibliographic research methods. The results proved that foreign journals are well established teams of experts that publish only the most serious research findings. The topics of housing research articles published in international journals will be of interest to those who are seeking for “food for thought” – perspectives for further research in their regions (countries).
