Abstract:
The article discusses the issues of ensuring national economic security in pharmaceutical production, which require an integrated research approach. Based on analytical and statistical methods, an assessment of the current state of the national pharmaceutical market was carried out. The article identifies the main threats to its economic security. In particular, the share and role of foreign companies in the Russian pharmaceutical market was assessed. The article describes the current state of domestic pharmaceutical companies and the segment of the core product market they occupy, reflects government measures to prevent threats to national economic security from the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and the tasks currently being solved with regard to their implementation, and assesses the prospects for the development of the domestic market for both a full cycle of pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical substances.
