Abstract:
In the article, the main components of economic security of the banking sector are presented. The structure, working mechanism, goals, tasks and methods of their implementation in a commercial bank are considered. The level of economic security of VTB Bank PJSC was assessed by analyzing the main indicators of economic performance for the reporting period of 2021-2023. An analysis of the impact of the shadow economy on the organization's activities was carried out. The study identified the main risks threatening VTB's economic security and proposed measures to minimize and neutralize them. The research results can be used as methodological recommendations both for VTB Bank PJSC and for other commercial banks in Russia.
