Labor efficiency in the context of the development of the digital economy

Abstract:
The article examines the impact of the development of the digital economy on labor efficiency, focusing on how advances in digital technology are changing labor efficiency indicators in the food delivery industry. Based on the analysis of this industry, the article shows how the development of the digital economy using technologies and platform models affects the improvement of labor efficiency. The study shows that the development of digital technologies has not only changed the forms of labor organization, but also significantly increased its efficiency through data-driven management, algorithmic management, and platform-based task allocation. The conclusions of the article provide a theoretical basis and empirical support for the development of policies aimed at improving labor efficiency in the context of the development of the digital economy. The research results can be useful from both a practical and academic point of view for managers of large and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for academic staff and postgraduate students.
