Abstract:
Available empirical research in the field of strategic management substantiates the need to revise existing theoretical and methodological approaches to the organization of strategic planning, without excluding the importance of accompanying tactical and operational decisions that make it possible to eliminate current problems in the functioning and development of production structures.
Considering the importance and significance of the cognitive resources that the manufacturing sector both uses and simultaneously produces for sustainable national and global socio-economic development, it is necessary to examine the tools of production structures in more detail.
This article focuses on the theoretical concept of the “business model outline” as a comprehensive, universal and adaptive tool for strategic planning for the development of production structures. The toolkit enables the development of alternative strategies for optimizing resource expenditures and maximizing income generation. This allows for the fulfillment of current and future market needs while also facilitating the growth of economic benefits within the production structure.
