Digital platforms in the management of housing and communal services for consumers (on the example of the Tambov region)

Abstract:
The technical progress in the modern world is driving the digitization of society; and digital platforms combined with automation are becoming reliable allies in the quest to improve the quality of housing and communal services. From this perspective, new prospects for digitization in management processes in this crucial sphere become relevant.
This allows to provide increased efficiency and consumer satisfaction. The article theoretically examines the categories of digital technology and platforms with a substantive reflection on their impact on management functionality in the housing and communal sphere of the region. It also presents empirical data reflecting the level of development of digital infrastructure in the communal service enterprises of the Tambov region. It is revealed that the implementation of monocentric digital platforms in the region can enhance the management system. Based on the state digital platform, an organizational-economic management mechanism for the regional housing and communal sphere is proposed. It is concluded that the application of original principles in building digital platforms in the housing and communal sphere of the region will contribute to improvement of the service management system, making them more justified, predictable, and comfortable.
