Abstract:
The article provides information on the types, methods and features of banking control. Nevertheless, the article is not a guide to the world of internal control. The article presents a general understanding of the main points of control that are provided by Law No. 115-FZ on the part of banks in relation to their customers. Focusing on the established driving forces that affect the practice of banks controlling their clients, the authors of the article highlight the importance of providing valuable information to the company. Particular attention is paid to the following question: in which cases banks are required to carry out identification and what consequences for an organization or individual entrepreneur may be based on the results of identification.
